Services
Sunday worship services are the highlight of the week! At 10:00 AM, we enjoy contemporary style worship, which includes music, human videos, drama, illustrated sermons, and our pastor teaches using Power Point with handouts given to everyone for further study. We believe it is essential to have a good understanding of God's Word. Time is also given to pray for those who need healing and other needs. We believe in anointing with oil when we pray, according to James 5:14, 15 &16.

Small Group Bible Studies
Acts 2:42: They committed themselves to the teaching of the apostles, the life together, the common meal, and the prayers. There is also a small group study for women available on Tuesdays at 3:30 PM on the book of Romans which meets at the church. For information on a Bible study near you, or to obtain directions to Pastor Tim's home, contact the church at 634-5809 or drop an email to the office. Coming soon: more studies will be offered such as "Fireproof Your Marriage" and "Crown Financial" and "The Truth Project".
Praise Team / Music Ministry
This group loves to worship the Lord through singing and playing instruments. The team ministers in the Sunday morning worship service and other special events. If you would like to participate by singing or being in the band, you can leave a message at the church office, 928-634-5809 or email at ewc4square@msn.com.
Water Baptism
Please contact the office by calling 928-634-5809 or emailing ewc4square@msn.com if you desire to be baptized in water. The dates and times are posted on our calendar.
Communion
Communion services are every 2nd Sunday of the month during the 10:00 AM worship service. You do not need to be a member of EWC to receive Communion. The only scriptural requirement is that you have received Jesus as your Savior and that you prepare yourself in this way:
1. Self-examination: "God, what is it in my life that needs to be changed?"
2. Confess my sins: "God, reveal to me anything I've done that is wrong. Cleanse me of unrighteousness."
3. Commit or recommit my life to Jesus Christ: "Jesus, I want to learn to think like you, speak like you, feel what you feel, and act the way you would act. Please use Your Words and Your Spirit to make me like You."
4. Restore my relationships with others: the Bible says if you have anything against another person, if you are bitter or resentful, you should not take the Lord's Supper or even give an offering until you first get it right with that person, then you come and worship. 2 Corinthians 5:18: God has restored our relationship with Him through Christ, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships.
Ephesians 1:5: His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him great pleasure.
Personal Ministry
Pastor Tim Hall is available for counseling by appointment only. His counsel is based entirely on Biblical truth and help because 2 Peter 1:3 tells us the Bible contains "all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him". Prayer Ministry
We believe prayer is the most important key to being effective in the Kingdom of God. There is a prayer wall in the sanctuary where people are invited to post their requests for healing, salvation, finances, addictions, or anything they need. There is also an area for posting your written testimonies when prayers have been answered. The first full week every January is given to fasting and prayer as week seek God's will and pray for effective ministry in our own church and for our missionaries.
According to Acts 19:12, God used aprons and handkerchiefs to heal the sick and deliver people from addictions. We have made prayer clothes to minister to people with serious needs. After anointing these with oil and prayer, they are sent to those people. As a result, we've witnessed many miracles. You may email your request for prayer to ewc4square@msn.com or call 928-634-5809.

We love and support the ministry of Foursquare's great international church in Los Angeles along with the Dream Center. Russia Missions
We support Terence and Jill Hall, our missionaries to Russia. You can view a 4 minute video clip about their work in Russia here (scroll to the bottom of the page). We have cookbooks for sale, and all funds received from the sales of these books go to Russia missions. The cookbook is $15, and it is a compilation of recipes from our own church's women. Most of the recipes were donated by Ann Andrews, who is the former owner of The Parlor Restaurant in Cottonwood.
Teen Challenge
We love and support Teen Challenge every month! When they come to the Verde Valley to raise funds by setting up their booth in front of the grocery stores, we provide housing for them. You can check out their web site here: http://www.azteenchallenge.org
Bruce & Gail Unterschuetz, Missionaries to Peru
Since November 1986 Bruce and Gail Unterschuetz have been faithful in their calling to minister to the people of San Juan, Iquitos in Peru through the organization "Abundant Life Ministries". This ministry has been very successful, and a number of churches have been started by the Unterschuetz family. Our church will support them prayerfully and financially. David Ferguson, Missionary to Cambodia
David spent most of his growing years as a member of EWC and completed our Master's Commission School of Ministry. He has a strong call of God on his life to minister to people in Cambodia. Our church supports him each month prayerfully and financially. You can email David at thefergster@gmail.com .
Women's Ministry
We meet for breakfast and fellowship once a month on the third Saturday at 9:00 AM. There is an annual retreat or camp for women in Arizona in cooperation with our district of Foursquare churches. Please refer to the calendar for dates and times of meeting. All women are welcome to come to Bible study on Tuesdays at the church, 3:30 pm.
Men of Honor Ministry
We meet for breakfast with Bible study and prayer the first Saturday each month at 7:00 AM. The men also have annual an retreat or camp in Arizona with the other Foursquare churches in our state. Please refer to the calendar for dates and times.
Critter Ministry
We give new stuffed toys to children who have been tramatized by illness, death in the family, auto accidents, and domestic violence. This ministry has been a blessing to our local hospital, medical lab, police and fire departments. Over 1,500 toys with an attached prayer card from EWC were given to needy children in 2005/2006. We are currently in need of more stuffed animals, and your donation can be brought to the church office. A tax deductible receipt will be issued to you upon request.
Tape / CD / DVD Ministry
Each Sunday's sermon is recorded and audio cassette tapes, audio CD's or DVD's are available for private listening or viewing. If you would like to order a tape, CD or DVD, please email your request to ewc4square@msn.com . Make sure to indicate the date or the title of the sermon you desire. This a ministry to you, and we don't charge for the tape. If you would like to give a donation, that is appreciated, but not required.
Special Times
We have several annual events at EWC that are not only fun, but they provide opportunity for building relationships, evangelism and outreach to our community: a Valentine's dinner in February; a wild game dinner in March; a western style barbecue in September; our annual "Family Traditions" Christmas banquet, living nativity, and Christmas program. There are concerts, ministry and drama groups who visit often, and special guest speakers who minister at EWC. Please watch the calendar on this site for dates of these events.
Volunteers
We love our volunteers! In the body of Christ, every believer should have a ministry where they are involved.
