Bible Studies | | February 17, 2010 ~ December 17, 2010 | | Wednesday | We're using Global Youth Evangelism curriculum, currently studying "Christian Living, Books 1-5. Bring your Bible, notebook and pen and join in this small group discussion. Our desire is to help you grow spiritually and enjoy being with the company of good friends. | | |
Sunday School Classes | | March 07, 2010 ~ May 31, 2010 | | Sunday | Ages 4 and under meet in the nursery; ages 5-15 meet in their various classes by age group in the lower level. Remember to bring your own Bible and an offering, invite a friend, and participate in the class by studying your lesson and memorize scriptures. The student with the highest achievement score from each class at the end of the quarter will receive an award on Family Sunday. Kid's Club | | July 07, 2010 ~ September 29, 2010 7:00 until 8:00 pm | | Wednesday | While parents are at their Bible study group, kids have their own "club" where they will learn a valuable Bible lesson with a coordinating craft project. Each child gets a back pack filled with a water bottle, cup, clubhouse pen, visor, journal, bookmark and toys. | | |

Family Sunday Worship | | August 29, 2010 10 AM | |
On Family Sunday, the children who normally attend Sunday School will remain with their parents during the worship service for a special time together as a church family. The children will quote their memory verses, sing songs, and perform skits they've learned in their classes. Pastor Tim will have an illustrated sermon that will benefit everyone of every age. Communion Sunday | | September 12, 2010 10 AM |
You do not need to be a member of EWC to receive Communion. The only scriptural requirement is that you have received Jesus as your Savior and that you prepare yourself in this way:
1. Self-examination: "God, what is it in my life that needs to be changed?"
2. Confess my sins: "God, reveal to me anything I've done that is wrong. Cleanse me of unrighteousness."
3. Commit or recommit my life to Jesus Christ: "Jesus, I want to learn to think like you, speak like you, feel what you feel, and act the way you would act. Please use Your Words and Your Spirit to make me like You."
4. Restore my relationships with others: the Bible says if you have anything against another person, if you are bitter or resentful, you should not take the Lord's Supper or even give an offering until you first get it right with that person, then you come and worship. 2 Corinthians 5:18: God has restored our relationship with Him through Christ, and has given us this ministry of restoring relationships.
Ephesians 1:5: His unchanging plan has always been to adopt us into His own family by bringing us to Himself through Jesus Christ. And this gave Him great pleasure.
